A Message from the PTA President

We are all very pleased and excited about this year.  First, because we are the first elementary school in the Paradise Valley Unified School District to have the privilege, prestige, and distinction of becoming an Academy.  Second, because we have some great family events and classroom programs in store for this coming year.
We hope you will take the time to check out the calendar of events and join us in the fun.  Please know, the PTA is very committed to the families of Whispering Wind.  We can appreciate how difficult it can be to set aside quality family time given all of our busy schedules.  With that in mind, we have planned a family event for each month to help everyone spend an hour or two just enjoying their children and having fun.
We have also arranged for some great programs to come to school and enhance the classroom experience for our children.  Field trips are quickly becoming non-existent due to rising costs.  The PTA brings the field trips to the classroom so that our children can still have those learning experiences.
By becoming a member of the PTA you are helping to support these activities, so please sign up today.  We do not ask that you volunteer or attend the meetings unless you are able to and want to.  Your membership helps fund and shows your support of the programs we bring to our children.
We hope you have a year full of new and fun experiences.  If you would like more information, please tour our web site and check back often for updates.

Thank you,
Whispering Wind PTA
